Privacy Policy - Boomerang Maker

Last updated: 30 October 2026

This policy describes Boomerang Maker 1.6.1 for iPhone and iPad.

Who is responsible

Rivia Corp s.r.o. is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact support@riviacorp.com or write to Rivia Corp s.r.o., Nadační 260/35, 742 35 Odry, Czech Republic. VAT ID: CZ07861711.

Videos and editing

The app imports the video you select from Photos or Files, copies it to local temporary storage, and processes edits on your device. This includes trimming, playback direction and speed, loops, filters, effects, music, text, and stickers. The app does not upload the source video to a Rivia video-processing service.

Saving an exported video to Photos requires permission to add it to your library. System sharing sends the exported content to the app or destination you choose. These exported and shared copies remain under your or the recipient’s control. Temporary processing files are separate from saved exports; the app does not define a fixed automatic cleanup deadline for all temporary files.

Analytics and crash reports

Boomerang Maker uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. These services process app-instance and technical identifiers, device and app information, usage events, and crash diagnostics to help us understand use and investigate failures. Events can describe import source, trim and loop choices, speed and direction, selected filters and effects, music selections, sticker URLs, and text-sticker counts. Do not assume that all editing-related information stays on the device merely because video rendering is local.

Firebase and Google Analytics retention is governed by the configured service settings and Google’s processing terms; removing the app does not recall information already sent. See Firebase’s privacy information and Google’s privacy policy. Contact us to request information or deletion of personal data we control.

Sticker searches

When you search for stickers, the app sends your search text and app identifier to Google’s Tenor service and downloads the selected sticker media. Tenor and its media hosts also receive normal connection information, including your IP address. Their handling of this data is described in Google’s privacy policy.

Purchases

Apple handles subscriptions, lifetime access, and consumable export-credit purchases through the App Store. The app checks StoreKit transaction information and keeps export-credit balances locally. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Apple’s server notifications can send subscription transaction and renewal information to our Railway-hosted AppPlatform purchase service. These server records have no automatic expiry in that service. This is distinct from the app’s Firebase diagnostics; this version of Boomerang Maker does not register a first-party AppPlatform customer or upload first-party activity logs from the app.

Support and the website

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments. The website contact form also requests your name and the app you need help with. Cloudflare hosts the website and provides Turnstile spam protection; Resend delivers form submissions to our support mailbox. These services process submitted information and technical request data such as your IP address. Do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

We use support information to answer your request and investigate the problem. Support correspondence may remain in our mailbox and service-provider records after the conversation ends. It has no automatic deletion deadline in the website application. Contact us about removal of records we control.

Purposes, sharing, and security

We process information needed for requested editing functions, purchases, and support under our contract with you. Diagnostics serve our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the app. We process records required by law to meet our legal obligations. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Recipients include Apple, Google for Firebase and Tenor, Railway for subscription records, and the website and email providers described above. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. See Apple’s privacy information and Railway’s privacy information, together with the Google links above. Contact us for information about the arrangements applying to your data.

We use access controls and protected connections for our services. No storage or transmission method guarantees complete security.

Your choices and rights

You can manage system permissions in your device settings. Refusing a permission can prevent the related feature from working. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription, erase information already sent to service providers, or remove exported videos and system backups.

Under applicable data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the details above. We may need information to identify the relevant records and verify your request; we do not need your Apple Account password. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or establish or defend legal claims.

You can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection or your local supervisory authority.

Children and changes

The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us.

We will post changes to this policy on this page and update its date. We will provide further notice or request consent when required for a material change in processing.
