Privacy Policy - Blue Light Filter

Last updated: 30 October 2026

This policy describes Blue Light Filter 1.11.0 for iPhone and iPad and 1.3.1 for Mac. The iOS app includes a browser and file tools. The Mac app provides display tinting; it does not include the iOS browser or file library.

Who is responsible

Rivia Corp s.r.o. is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact support@riviacorp.com or write to Rivia Corp s.r.o., Nadační 260/35, 742 35 Odry, Czech Republic. VAT ID: CZ07861711.

Browsing and files on iPhone and iPad

The app stores tabs, browsing history, bookmarks, preferences, downloaded or imported files, notes, and voice memos on your device. Websites you open receive normal web requests, including your IP address and the information you submit to them. WebKit uses persistent website storage, including cookies. Deleting browsing history alone does not necessarily remove website cookies or sign you out of a website.

Typed search queries go to Google Search. The app also requests website icons from Google using the site’s hostname. These icon requests do not include the page’s path or query string. Google and the websites you visit handle received information under their own policies, including Google’s privacy policy.

Microphone and speech-recognition access support dictation and audio features. Dictation uses Apple’s Speech framework and can involve processing by Apple; it is not restricted to on-device recognition. Photo and file access is used for content you select. System device authentication can protect access to the app or selected files. These locks do not constitute a separate promise that the files have been independently encrypted.

Files remain locally until removed or the app’s local data is deleted, subject to system backups. Exports and sharing send the selected content to the destination you choose. Recipients and websites control their own copies.

App activity and purchases on iPhone and iPad

We collect app activity and diagnostic events through our own AppPlatform service, hosted on Railway. Events include screen visits, feature actions and outcomes, timestamps, session and event identifiers, app version, operating system, device model, and error identifiers. Events can be linked to an app-specific customer identifier and installation identifier. These identifiers do not require a named account, but they allow us to link activity from the same installation or customer.

The app stores its customer credentials in Keychain, which can preserve them across reinstalls on the same device. We also receive Apple Ads attribution information and verified App Store transaction information, including products, purchase and renewal status, and available purchase-device information. We use this to manage purchases, understand acquisition, diagnose faults, and improve the app. Apple processes payments; we do not receive your payment-card details.

Events include feature actions, settings changes, counts, permission outcomes, and failures. They exclude browsing URLs, search queries, page titles, filenames, note text, and dictated text from app event payloads. This exclusion does not prevent the browser from sending requests to websites and search providers as described above. The app does not integrate Firebase analytics or an advertising SDK in this iOS version.

Uploaded AppPlatform activity logs are currently retained indefinitely for long-term app analysis; they do not have an automatic expiry. Customer, installation, attribution, and purchase records also have no automatic expiry in that service. This is separate from deleting content inside the app. You can contact us to request deletion of personal data, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

Display filtering on Mac

The Mac app stores filter color, strength, opacity, selected mode, and entered schedule times in local preferences. It applies tinted panels over displays. It does not capture or upload screen contents. This Mac version does not activate location or sunrise/sunset services and does not send first-party app activity logs or customer registration from the app to AppPlatform.

Apple processes Mac purchases through StoreKit. We can receive subscription transaction and renewal information from Apple’s server notifications to administer purchases, even when the Mac app itself does not upload activity or purchase records. These server purchase records do not have an automatic expiry in our purchase service.

Support and the website

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments. The website contact form also requests your name and the app you need help with. Cloudflare hosts the website and provides Turnstile spam protection; Resend delivers form submissions to our support mailbox. These services process submitted information and technical request data such as your IP address. Do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

We use support information to answer your request and investigate the problem. Support correspondence may remain in our mailbox and service-provider records after the conversation ends. It has no automatic deletion deadline in the website application. Contact us about removal of records we control.

Use and service providers

We process information needed for requested features, purchases, and support under our contract with you. App diagnostics and acquisition measurement serve our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the app. We retain records when needed to meet legal obligations.

Apple provides device services and purchases; Railway hosts our first-party logging and purchase service. Google and visited websites receive browser requests. The website’s providers are described above. Providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy information describes their processing: Apple, Railway, Cloudflare, and Resend. Contact us for information about the arrangements applying to your data.

We use access controls and protected connections for our services. Websites control their own security and content; no storage or transmission method guarantees complete security.

Your choices and rights

You can manage system permissions in your device settings. Refusing a permission can prevent the related feature from working. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription, erase information already sent to service providers, or necessarily remove system backups or identifiers stored in Keychain.

Under applicable data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the details above. We may need information to identify the relevant records and verify your request; we do not need your Apple Account password. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or establish or defend legal claims.

You can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection or your local supervisory authority.

Children and changes

The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us.

We will post changes to this policy on this page and update its date. We will provide further notice or request consent when required for a material change in processing.
