Terms of use - AI Transcribe

These terms govern your use of AI Transcribe, provided by Rivia Corp s.r.o. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
What the app provides
AI Transcribe records or imports audio and documents and offers transcription, editing, titles, key points, action items, translation, and questions about transcripts. AI processing sends relevant content through our backend to OpenAI after you grant the app’s AI-sharing permission. You can withdraw that permission in Settings; further AI processing then requires permission again.
Obtain the permissions and recording consent required by law before recording or submitting another person’s speech, documents, or personal information. Generated text can omit, invent, mistranscribe, or mistranslate information. Review output against the source before sharing or relying on it, especially for consequential decisions. The app does not guarantee an accurate record or provide professional advice.
Saved content is local and may be backed up through your iCloud account. Cloud availability and synchronization can delay backup, restoration, or deletion.
Your license and responsibilities
You may use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the applicable App Store usage rules and license supplied with your download. Apple’s standard app license applies where no custom license accompanies the download. Rivia Corp s.r.o. provides the app and support; Apple is not the provider of our app services.
Do not use the app unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, bypass purchase or access controls, disrupt services, or remove proprietary notices. Reverse engineering restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law and the licenses of included open-source software.
We and our licensors retain rights in the app’s software, branding, and supplied materials. You retain your existing rights in content you provide. You must have permission to use that content and to disclose any personal information it contains. You authorize the processing needed for the features you request, as described in the privacy policy. Importing content does not make it public or transfer its ownership to us.
Purchases and subscriptions
Prices, billing periods, included features, usage limits, and any trial or introductory offer are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you pay. Apple handles billing through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple subscription settings. If you do not want a trial to renew, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Manage or cancel subscriptions using Apple’s subscription controls. Use the app’s restore-purchases action for eligible purchases. Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases can be made through Apple’s refund process, subject to applicable law and Apple’s terms. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights remain in place.
Subscriptions provide the allowance shown for the selected plan; they do not provide unlimited AI processing. Free, trial, and paid use are subject to service usage limits. Restored purchases can share the same allowance. Do not circumvent these controls or use the service in ways prohibited by the AI provider’s applicable usage rules.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains the app’s data handling, permissions, external services, retention, and your rights. System permissions and AI-sharing choices described there remain separate from agreement to these terms.
Availability and liability
Features depend on the app version, compatible hardware, operating-system permissions, and the availability of external services. Network or service failures can interrupt features. Keep separate copies of content you need. We may provide updates or change services, subject to existing purchase commitments and applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses only where the law permits that exclusion. These terms do not exclude mandatory warranties, consumer remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and disputes
Czech law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you retain mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply in your country of residence. Contact us first about a complaint. Disputes may be brought before courts with jurisdiction under applicable law; these terms do not require you to waive mandatory consumer remedies.
Changes
We will post updated terms here with a new date and provide further notice when required for material changes. Changes do not remove rights already acquired under a purchase or mandatory law. If you disagree with updated terms, stop using the affected service and manage any subscription through Apple.
